I absolutely love Sandra's work! all of these illustrations are gorgeous, yes? But look even closer at the stunning detail and they just get even better! I really enjoy following Sandra on Instagram to see her works in progress, its amazing to see how these illustrations develop. Her choice of colours is also beautiful, I love the use of bright bold colours against the dark, detailed drawing.

Bargain Box

As you may have seen, I have been updating my shop and changing my products quite a bit over the last few months.

That means, I have a quite a lot of old stock taking up lots of room in my studio!

So, I've decided to have a little Bargain Box Sale over on my Facebook Page.

Take a look at the photo album and leave a comment saying "SOLD" under any of the products you'd like to buy and I will contact you about payment and postage details (postage is £2 per order).

The sale will remain open for a few weeks or until everything has gone.

Today I Like...

1. Beautiful DIY Paper bunting.

2. DIY Colour blocked spoons. These would look great in my new kitchen...

3. Painted Maison Jars. I may have to do this to save some money on vases and plant pots. They look so pretty grouped together like this!

Ikea Picks

I mentioned the other day that I have spent so much time in Ikea lately that I should probably just move in. We've been going back and forth buying all sorts of lovely things for our new flat (4 weeks til moving day!), and every time we go back I spot something else I want to buy! Here's a few (out of hundreds!) of my favourites:

1. Kalasa Plant pot. I am planning on filling the flat with lots of flowers and plants, and this pot is just the kind of thing I'm looking for.

2. Agen Chair. I have one of these on order (along with lots of other furniture!), I'll be adding a cushion to it and keeping it in the bedroom.

3. Gurli Throw. I'll be using lots of different coloured and textured throws to make our sand-coloured sofa look a little more interesting (and comfortable of course!).

4. Dagni Cushion. 5. Benzy Land Cushion. 6. Henrika Cushion.

Cushions are definitely something I'm on the look out for at the moment. I'm going for a combination of handmade, customised and shop bought. There will be cushions on the sofa, on the bed and on the chairs.

7. Emmie Blom Light Shade. I'll definitely be including a floral patterns in the flat... quite possibly including this lovely light shade.

8. 365+ Mug. I really don't need any more mugs for my kitchen, I have so many beautiful ones that I was given for christmas (Cath Kidston and similar), but I just love this colour.

9. Blanda Matt Serving Bowl. I have lots of plans for entertaining once everything is all set up, so of course I'll be needing some serving bowls.

I have so many other ideas (and we've already spent quite a bit of money in Ikea and other places) as well. I'll of course be sharing the finished result once we're all moved in!

Craft fair preparation, lectures and essays have gotten in the way of just drawing for a while, but now I'm finally getting back to it, and really enjoying it again.
